La Perla, a luxury brand established worldwide, was founded in 1954 by Ada Masotti, thanks to her talent and courage, demonstrating how a "historic" brand can preserve the craftsmanship skills passed down from one generation to the next. By innovating ancient and venerable techniques, which are the foundation of the brand's uniqueness, she elevates the garments making them the expression of a rare and precious luxury. In 2012 La Perla returns to the baby and junior clothing sector, where the concept of elegance becomes "mini": the distinctive traits are interpreted "on a child's scale" with a capsule that offers a vast selection of underwear aimed at the baby world from 0 to 2 years and the junior world from 2 to 14 years. In addition to the classic pieces of the baby wardrobe such as bodysuits and rompers, La Perla offers layettes including cradle sets, covers, bathrobes and lucky blouses. The garments are embellished with details such as small hearts with the LP monogram embroidered on tulle or mini crystals that illuminate the items in the collection with points of light. Valencienne lace, which is another style code that characterises the brand's DNA, is adapted to the chenille sleepsuits, pyjamas and underwear items embellished with ribbing, entre-deux and light points similar to small bijoux. The junior collection (2 to 14 years old), on the other hand, is aimed at the world of teenagers, and shares the precious fabrics and details used for the baby collection but interpreted with a cool touch: underwear and nightdresses are enriched with embroidered tulle inserts and crystals as points of light.
