The no-gender as a point of reference in the kidswear. Research of an alternative approach in the kidswear, discovering new solutions in a contemporary and, sometimes, controversial way. This is the main objective of Cesare Morisco, art director and buyer of CoccoleBimbi, who is back with his exclusive Meet The Buyer, where he expresses his philosophy.

In the first look, the jacket of the emerging brand Marques Almeida, born from two portuguese designers, is perfectly matched with the sustainable sweater by Molo, and with the touch of colour of the Veja shoes, 100% vegan. The innovative colours of Alanui and the new palette of MM6 Maison Margiela stand out in the second look: the challenge for the SS22 season is to put together warm and cold colours, mixing autumn and summer vibes.

A tribute to the animal world is recognizable in the denim with the deer print by Burberry, main character of the third look, matched with the GG all-over of the Gucci jacket, and with the western touch of the Gallucci boots. An iconic look is created with the dress by Dior with the pattern all-over, the pink hat by Gucci and the tulle skirt by Blumarine.

The Givenchy dress of the fifth look is paired with a “leisure” vibe of the Nike socks, and a special item as well as the Suicoke sandals in eco-fur: the special item designed in a limited edition by Matthew Williams, becomes a real icon of this Meet The Buyer, with a gender-fluid attitude. In the sixth look the star is Marques Almeida again, with a denim and a black&white salopette: the power of the look is given by the accessories and by the Suicoke sandals, transforming the look into a country and chic one. Must have? The foulard by Burberry as a bandana.

Colours, energy and dynamism, the three key words of the seventh look: from the far Texas to the boom in the ‘70s, the camperos boots are back for the SS22. Stella McCartney, Gucci, Simonetta and Molo are perfectly matched by Cesare Morisco, who gives a big conspicuousness to this outfit. The last look is a total white one by Stella McCartney: horseshoes embroideries, sun and cactus bring us directly in the old West.
